Western Desert

We are delighted to offer once again from 2010 a journey of exploration through the great sand sea of Egypt’s western desert.

Travelling by 4-wheel drive from Cairo, we follow ancient caravan routes linking fertile oases at Fayoum, Baharia and Siwa. We pass towering dunes in the great sand sea and we can experience at close hand the timeless beauty and brilliant rock formations as we trek through the White Desert. In the evenings we enjoy dinner around the campfire, under a spectacular night sky, then returning by road to Cairo.

A longer desert journey ends at the Nile, visiting the legendary Valley of the Kings, plus the many temples at Luxor, before returning to Cairo on an internal flight.
